Macao’s first maritime cultural tourism brand, Macau Cruise, officially launched the new “Macau Outer Harbour–Barra Pier” route on 30 May. This new route enhances Macao’s tourism offerings by providing a richer and more comprehensive sea-and-land travel experience, covering a wider range of cultural and scenic attractions. To promote the new route service, free cruise rides are offered during the first two weeks of operation (now until June 13th).

Macau Cruise operates from Thursday to Sunday, offering ferry services between Outer Harbour and Barra Pier, as well as Barra Pier and Coloane. The new route further leverages Macao’s waterway resources and transportation infrastructure to enrich sea-and-land cultural tourism experiences. It also introduces an innovative, seamless connection between two major transportation hubs: the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and the Barra Station of the Macau Light Rapid Transit (LRT). This integration provides tourists with enhanced sightseeing opportunities and convenient transportation.

Locals and tourists can now explore Macao, Taipa, Coloane, and most of the popular attractions in Cotai with ease. Along the journey, passengers can enjoy breathtaking cityscapes of Macao and Hengqin from a unique perspective.

Since its launch in 2018, Macau Cruise has offered tourists the opportunity to enjoy scenic coastal views aboard its specially designed cruise ferries, showcasing some of the most spectacular sights of the city and its surroundings. With extensive experience in passenger sea travel and a deep understanding of regional tourism trends, the Group remains committed to diversifying Macao’s tourism offerings and providing visitors with high-quality cultural and travel experiences.
