Shun Tak Group Elected as the Vice Chairman of Units of CTIC of CCOIC

The 3rd General Assembly & Plenary Session of the Cultural and Tourism Industry Working Committee of China Chamber of International Commerce (CTIC of CCOIC) was held in Beijing during the 3rd China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). Shun Tak Group has been elected as one of the Vice Chairman of units of the CTIC of CCOIC.

As one of the most influential business associations in China, China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) is a nationwide chamber of commerce comprised of enterprises, groups and other business organizations that are engaged in international commercial activities in China. CTIC of CCOIC, which is established in May 2019, aims to build an implementation platform for foreign cultural cooperation mechanisms, promote the integrated development of the national culture and tourism industry, accelerate the process of industrialization and internationalization, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the cultural and tourism industry and enterprises.

During the meeting, Ms. Pansy Ho, Standing Committee member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and our Group Executive Chairman and Managing Director, was invited to deliver a speech as the representative of CTIC of CCOIC’s Vice Chairman. She said that as an international and open industry, the cultural tourism industry is not only a breakthrough for economic transformation but also plays a very important role in shaping the country’s political, economic, service trade, and cultural tension and soft power with its good attributes of non-governmental public diplomacy. Cultural tourism enterprises also play a vital role in displaying China’s image, interpreting the Chinese dream, and promoting mutual learning among civilizations.

As a cultural tourism conglomerate based in the GBA, our Group has been rooted in Hong Kong and Macao for decades.
