Shun Tak Group’s flagship community investment program, “T+ Exploration,” continues to broaden its reach. Recently, we partnered for the first time with CLAP@JC to bring a cohort of Hong Kong teachers on an immersive learning journey to Macao, equipping them with fresh insights to inspire and guide the next generation to seize diverse development opportunities, while nurturing more outstanding young talent for the cultural tourism industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

During the visit, the delegation toured Macau Tower (managed by the Group) and Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau (managed by AHG, the Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary), gaining an in-depth understanding of the latest developments in Macao’s tourism, hospitality and MICE industries. Industry practitioners introduced the local employment landscape, including required skills and qualifications, and shared emerging opportunities arising from Hengqin’s development. In addition, the guided tour also enabled teachers to gain a better understanding of daily operations and experience firsthand the professional management and service culture behind quality hospitality.

The journey also brought teachers to the Macao University of Tourism, fostering in-depth exchanges between the education sectors of Hong Kong and Macao. Through the campus tour, teachers learned about admission requirements, articulation pathways from secondary to tertiary education, and how tourism and hospitality-related programs align with industry needs. A student sharing session further provided insights into academic experiences and career prospects in the sector.

“T+ Exploration” is dedicated to building a cross-sector exchange platform in the GBA, connecting the education, academic, and cultural tourism sectors. It enables teachers to gain deeper insights into industry developments and career opportunities in the region, while integrating the latest industry skill standards and practical requirements into teaching, thereby enhancing their ability to guide students in career planning and to nurture a new generation of cultural tourism talent equipped with both international perspectives and practical capabilities. Looking ahead, the Group will continue to be steadfast in its commitment to youth development, collaborate with more partners, empower youth growth, drive industry upgrading, and jointly contribute to establishing the GBA as a world-class tourism destination.
