In response to World Environment Day on June 5, Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao have jointly organised the National Event and launched a nationwide “Beautiful China” Promotion Week for the first time this year. Under the theme “Comprehensive Green Transition, Building a Beautiful China Together,’ the event calls on all sectors of society to jointly advance ecological civilization and build a beautiful China.Shun Tak Group firmly upholds its environmental responsibilities and actively supports energy conservation and carbon reduction. This year, we further revitalized our flagship environmental initiative “Think Green • Live Green,” expanding its reach to engage both employees and customers through our diverse business touchpoints, embedding sustainable living into everyday experiences, and continuously expanding the influence of our environmental actions.
As a pilot activation, our Macao office is launching the “Green Summer Series,” mobilizing colleagues and the wider community to embrace greener lifestyles. These activities include encouraging colleagues to participate in the “Dress Light in Summer” program to advance energy saving and emission reduction by dressing casually and smartly while reducing office air-conditioning power consumption. Colleagues are also encouraged to join in the “Macau EcoFun Program+”, earning carbon points by recycling or participating in eco-friendly activities. Additionally, Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre, Nova Mall and the residential towers of Nova Park, Nova Grand and One Central Residences which are managed by the Group’s Property Management Team, participated in the “Lights Off for One Hour” to respond the environmental protection call with concrete action.
The Group remains committed to turning sustainability ambition into meaningful impact. We empower employees to think green at work and live green in every aspect of life, reinforcing our operational efficiency goals while upholding high standards of social responsibility and strengthening our commitment to a more sustainable environment.
